The gas is also a lubricant, maintains seals etc. - mine is constantly on. If you flick through the Car menu you can see how much fuel is being used by convenience consumers - it’s 3/5ths of FA for the climate control.

Yes I understand the pump is variable compression.  During the 40 deg C days, the consumer menu showed a/c was heavy on power, unsurprisingly.  But now it is cooler, it uses virtually nothing.

Evening all.

When I have the climate control switched off, really hot air seeps into the cabin from the two face level vents on either side (not the centre two). Closing the vents helps but it still seems to come in. It doesn't always do it but often enough. At times I've had to put the aircon on to stop it even with the sunroof open!

I've read about the HVAC system reset which I'll try next time I'm out in the car, but has anyone else noticed this and will a reset of the flaps fix it?

When I give mine a bit of a blast it does the same. Also, I cannot modulate my temp very well. 23 degrees is way too cold and 24 degrees is way too hot. Aircon is working fine though.
