I have had michelin ps4s for a month now,  just done first proper drive to the cotswolds,  I can't believe how much they have transformed the car. Better ride and grip, gives me more confidence in the car.
Wish I had changed them when I first got it.
Collected and being driven....... Gti PP 5dr DSG Tornado red, tints and Brescia's.

Fantastic! And to think they are less than £100 each fitted is quite remarkable.

I am not interested in going any lower, but I'd be interested to see if ride is improved with these. I have both DCC and 18's, yet the ride is harsher than I expected.

I would have thought that if you have both 18” wheels and DCC then the ride should be pretty good for a performance hatch, although I accept that ride quality is quite subjective and what’s good or acceptable to some may not be for others.

Could it be that it’s your tyres that are contributing towards a harsher than expected ride quality? Some tyre brands have quite stiff sidewalls (e.g. Bridgestones) that will contribute to a firmer, less compliant ride quality than tyres with less stiff sidewalls. Also, VW’s recommended tyre pressures might also be a factor in the ‘harsher than expected’ ride; VW set their recommended pressures settings quite high to reduce the tyres rolling resistance with the primary objective of improving CO2 emissions rather than to improve ride quality.

Car is noticeably better now I have 4 PS4's, not just 2. Thanks for the tip!

Looking into going a tad lower, don't really want to ruin comfort or go to low, so amny options on the market, have tried VWR before but found them awful TBH,
Eibach
Emmanualle Designs
H&R
APR
Anybody got experience i. this area, don't really want to go the expense of coilovers if i can help it
Thanks

H&R 25 on the front and rear with Michelin Super Sports. Rides not bad for daily use, bit bumpy but liveable. On flat surfaces they are very good. I was never told or thought about about the fact that the camber would be adjusted, so my first set of tires where worn unevenly, inside tread was on the legal limit and the outside was about 3 mil. I would defo recommend without a doubt.

Also, the cars stance is so much better. It looks how I would want it to look from factory - oh and 12 mil spacers on the front and 15 mil on the rear
