Mk7.5 GTI PP front side window standard window tint

Hi,

Anyone know what the standard tint % is for the front side windows please?

I’m looking to get my ones tinted but knowing there is a slight tint on them already, and that the legal is 70% VLT, I’m unsure if this came from factory @ 70%?

Fairly sure it's 30% on the fronts and 65% on the rears (unless you have the optional 90% rears)

I thought it was 30% front, 60% rear and 90% for optional.

Yes, they’ll be at the legal limit for the UK.

I’ve seen 30% factory tint / 70% VLT for the mk7 / mk7.5 Golf front side windows mentioned on another Golf forum, which confirms the 30% figure quoted by @fredgroves and @mcmaddy in the earlier posts.
