I think this has just popped up for sale at Marshall's at Grismby, photos look good.

That battery cover looks smart, half tempted to fit one on ours.

Your correct, my car was sold within an hour on Carwow on 10th Jan to a dealer for Marshalls.
It was picked up from my house and driven to Marshalls Grimsby.

James - Apologies but I didn't see your request.
I removed the damper in about a minute but didn't fancy doing the other parts so just stuck it back on the car and sold it with everything on it.

The battery cover does tidy it up/protect and I'm sure the wife's Mk7 GTi had one fitted as standard.
More Mk7.5 money saving by VW.

I also thought I'd miss the GTi more as its our 4th since my Mk5 in 2006 but I'm not. I did love the car but maybe a change is as good as a rest!!
Current,
2021 Audi S3 Vorsprung, Tango Red.
2020 Up Gti, Tungsten silver. (Early buy for daughter...who's 15!!)
Previous,
2019 Mk7.5 Gti PP, Indium Grey.
2016 Mk7 Gtd Carbon grey.
2014 Mk7 Gti, Tornado red.
2006 Mk5 Gti, Reflex silver.     Plus many more.
