Is there even an Eco setting on the Clubby?
The Coast feature kicks in randomly in Comfort, sometimes when I expect it to drop the revs to idle with my foot off the gas it doesn’t and other times it does. The clutch very quickly re-engages when it needs to, lightning fast.
I’ve never tried it in Sport to be honest. I’ve been spending two hours plus in the car every day lately (except today) but generally keep it in Comfort when cruising about, then it’s flicked into Sport when I need a burst of extra oooomph. I don’t keep it in Sport when easing back to normal driving as it gets boomy every time I hit the gas (more so with the back seats permanently folded as my car is actually a van these days!) so can’t tell you if the Coasting function still works in Sport.
When I get back to driving at weird night time hours I’ll test it on a bit of quiet open road and report back. I seem to be forever stuck in heavy traffic lately, bring back lockdown!!
