You really do need to find out who mapped the car and whether there are any hardware changes too.
Assuming it’s a manual the clutch won’t survive long without slipping with a torque delivery like that so it might be possible that’s been uprated.
Boost spikes aren’t healthy and can damage other components plus traction issues and poor drivability.
If it’s a map from a big name they could investigate whether there are other faults causing the boost spikes followed by power tail off.
There are plenty of options such as taking it to an established mapper and purchase their map thus removing what you have now and gaining a map with better credentials, or getting a dealer to reflash back to stock.
Finding the previous owner would clear the mystery and give an insight to the history of the car. It’s always a risk buying a modified car, more so if not meeting the person who did the mods and deciding whether they’re a psycho or just an enthusiast with mechanical sympathy wanting something better than came out the factory.
