Engine sound ( soundaktor) settings
« on: 03 March 2020, 18:04 »
Good evening all.

I have just bought mk 7.5 PP and noticed there is an extra option in the individual mode under engine sound which is comfort. On my previous non-PP there were only 3 options: Eco, Normal, Sport.
So the question is comfort lower then Eco? or is Eco still quietest one regarding soundaktor.

To me, Eco and comfort sounds the same just wondering if there is a difference on paper

Eco is apparently quieter than Comfort.

I’ve played about with Carista and tried everything from 0% to 100% volume and in reality, you can only tell the difference between 0, 50 and 100% imo. Best leave it fully on for some fake hot hatch thuggery or if you prefer refinement or custom exhaust mods just switch it off.

The best thing to do with the soundaktor is to set it on fire...

Eventually, it might come to it  But for now it looks like it will be driven on Eco settings for engine sound.
