If you've had a credit check with VW finance and been properly quoted by VWFS, you'll get the 0% deal, they won't withdraw it - they've made that offer to you.

However, if the dealership has just punched some numbers into their computer as an illustration, VWFS have not offered you finance on those terms and so if it is pulled before you do the proper credit check, you won't get it.

Something similar happened to me when I ordered my R in Sept 2014. Finance wasn't finalised by dealership when GFV was £18.5k, it later dropped to £15.5k and it meant PCP terms were £80pm more with no access to the earlier deal.

Thanks - I have checked and it is a quote by VWFS which is valid for 30 days - I think it is the normal quote they will print off/send you but I have not signed anything as yet and I don't believe most customers sign (or get officially approved?) the finance until or shortly before collection or is that wrong? If that is the case, as 0% is on offer can I sign up in advance of collection? Just trying to ensure as best as possible I receive the 0%. Must be plenty of others in same boat as me hence the question

In my experience, you sign the finance documents when you sign the order for the car.

If it helps they are still offering 0% on brand new stock cars, I've just done a deal today on 0%.

Is there anywhere you can view new stock cars or is it a matter of ringing the individual dealers?

Some like Listers (and Vindis I think) put them on their website, a lot don’t and you have to phone or visit.

I just looked on Autotrader then made a couple of calls, they list if new unregistered in stock. if pre-registered you will have to pay the 4.9% interest on the finance if thats how your funding, and don't use the new/used filter as it filters out new cars...Listers Loughborough has 3 or 4 listed.

Thanks - unfortunately I had to go the factory build route (and order in advance) to tie in with my VT point
