Mine is doing the exact same . But it is very faint and not all the time... I'll have to look at the pump tomorrow. Is it easy to see ?

Dragging up this old topic, but I've noticed a faint smell of fuel in the cabin and from the front passenger side of the car. At first I thought maybe I had fuel on my shoes from filling up, but I found this thread and wonder if this is my problem?

Has anyone else had the same issue? Car is coming up to 60K now...

Update incase anyone else has the same in the future - car is at APS - high pressure fuel pump ins the culprit as suspected. Fuel visible on the pump, was hoping just a seal would be the cure but the actual pump is leaking...

Greig, what did they charge you to do this work was it fairly reasonable?

Hi Toppy, pump was about £250 plus 2hrs labour (sorry don't have receipt to hand for exact amount) The leak was bad enough that they (rightly) wouldn't let me drive the car away without it being fixed. It sits pretty close to the turbo so not worth the risk...
