Will this backbox fit?

I’m searching for a little bit more volume and spirit from the exhaust. I have a Progressive Parts res-delete arriving today and wondered of the ClubSport unit would be a direct fit to my 2016 Mark 7 manual GTI. OEM part would be my first choice.

You’ll have to cut your old back box out but yes it will 100% fit.

It’ll have to get cut for the VAG res delete pipe anyway. I’ll go for it then. Thanks!

Loads of people who have res deletes and a clubsport S back box reverse the res delete after fitting the back box!  I'd get the box put on first...  Take a look on Youtube, there's a few clips up there of different configurations.

The VAG Sport res delete pipe just arrived. Looks a beefy well made bit of kit. Thanks Jim for the recommendation in my previous thread. The Clubsport does sound fruity in those clips. Just what I’m after. I’ll take a change and fit both then if I have to remove the res delete pipe.
