Service book
« on: 26 November 2018, 20:28 »
My MK 7.5 GTI is booked for its first service tomorrow. Went to get the service book tonight to leave In the car for them to stamp but there doesn't appear to be any book. Is that now the case that it is just an electronic record.

Thought that was probably the case. Will keep the invoice but hard to beat seeing a nice little book with all the VW stamps.

Got my second service today and it's just a load of ticked boxes really. Neither wonder it's all online

Mine is a leased car so I'm not really worried about having the stamped book. So long as I have the invoice and the lease company can check online then I'm happy enough.
