Golf GTi LED Daytime Running Lights

Hi guys, wondered if you knew why only two rings on the front lights (MY14 MK7) light up daytime running and not all 4 like my sister in laws Golf R?#

And is there anyway to make all 4 light up?

The R has different headlights. The GTI/D cannot be coded to look like an R as it doesn't have the hardware.

Not every VCDS option can be adapted without the correct hardware. I ticked "sunroof installed" in my Tiguan. The coding was accepted, but no sunroof appeared.

So the surrounds actually have the leds in them but they cant be hardcoded to work?

No. The surrounds don't have the LEDs in them, that's why I said they are different headlights.
