Well after ringing a few dealers it was proving too hard to get an M140i on a personal lease. I did drive my brother in laws manual 140 that only had 300 miles on it. Biggest observation was the steering wheel felt massive
.
It was extremely quick, interior was nice and it sounded bloody good
However when I put my sensible head back on, I live in the hills where it snows regularly in winter, the m140i is smaller than our other car (mk7 GTI) so wouldn’t be the main car, the insurance is cheaper and a few other reasons the R is staying. Infact I’m that excited about it I’ve brought the delivery forward a month so collecting on the 8/03. As long as VW can collect the GTD before then.
