Yeah unfortunately anything you put over anything that you need to touch with your fingers as going to leave marks as it's the grease on our skin.
Like having a glass screen protector on your phone it gets marks on it.
The only other option are those gloves iv seen wirh pads at the finger if that helps...

Surely it's a pointless thing to do? The point of fitting a screen protector to say a phone or tablet is to stop scratches not fingerprints. So it will still get covered in fingerprints anyway!

I have std screen in the Mk7.5 and a 20 second clean with a microfibre once a week and it looks perfect.

Agreed Jim, to me this is futile. I have a screen protector on my phone so I don't scratch the screen when i drop it, or scratch it with anything else that it shares a pocket with. Without wanting to tempt fate, in 20 years of driving i've never managed to scratch my radio or sat nav screen. A screen protector won't prevent fingerprints from being seen, you'll still need to wipe it clean, so I fail to see the point.

That's what I thought. Phones get dropped, put face down on tables, slid into pockets. The nav nav screen sits in your dash all day and gets touched by the odd finger tip..

I've no screen protectors on my phone or my 7.5 R's infotainment system. Both look like new with a quick wipe of a microfibre cloth!
