Golf 1.0 TSI BlueMotion
« on: 12 November 2017, 12:11 »
hi
This is my first post and hopefully its in the right section so apollogies if its not.
I have traded in my Bora 1.9 TDI  (130 Highline ) hopefully for the better and not the worst, for a Golf 1.0 TSI BlueMotion on a 15 plate.I don't do that many mile's now probably 20 mile back an forward to work 10 mile each way mon-fri with the occasional 200 mile drive in the summer month's.
I was just wondering if anyone has got one of these 1.0 TSI motors and could shed any thoughts on them. Have seen a few vids and read a few reviews on the said car but would welcome a proper owner's thought's on them, being used daily.
I know earlier models of the TSI engine  had timing chain issues but this seems to of been addressed in the later models and not an issue with the 1.0 TSI engine as it uses a life time toothed belt so i have been told.
Looking forward to a few replies  hopefully
regards  tony :undecided:

It's a mk7 (not 6) and a 3 cylinder.
