Golf GTI MK7.5 questions

Hi,

I'm thinking of purchasing a new GTI with the performance pack (standard in Sweden 👌) and I have a few questions! I hope that you guys can help me out.

- How scratch sensitive are the high gloss interior panels? I had an A6 loaner once and it wasn't pretty. Maybe they've learned and clear coated the plastic?
- Does it have automatic throttle blips on downshifts (like the Mini S etc)? I haven't driven a manual GTI for quite some time and I'm a bit afraid that they've changed that. Sadly the dealers here lack manual cars in their inventories.

Think any piano/gloss back trim is easily scratched. Only had mine 8 days so can't comment just yet but my W205 Class had very similar trim on the majority of the centre console and when a mate borrowed it and had it cleaned it got scratched. 

Not sure about the blips on the manual as I have DSG...
