Performance alone does not equal a sportscar, I don't like them myself, but an MX5 is more of a sportscar, a GTI/R is a very fast, practical hatchback and as such a much better allrounder, but not a sportscar.

According to that article the MX-5 aka Miata is a proper "sports car". Hot hatches are definitely not.

Sitting in the dentists waiting room the other day.Reading a copy of EVO mag.Pleasure before the pain.
They obviously rated the R very highly.Comparing it to the legendary MK2 GTI 16V.'A modern day equivalent'.
They reckoned you should forego the wheel upgrade.Stick with the standard wheels and spend the cash on DCC.
Of course i drive a diesel so i'm just saying.....
