For those that don't frequent the R forum have a quick look at this if you like Pretorias but don't like 19" wheels.
http://www.vwroc.com/forums/topic/19251-nearly-new-genuine-vw-pretoria-19-wheels/?page=3I'll assume most of us saw the option on the German configurator when the FL car was launched in its home market but here's proof you can buy them in the UK for a not too unreasonable cost going buy the likely prices VW would charge you for a single wrecked OEM fitted wheel if you clobbered a pothole bad enough to write the wheel off (or lightly grazed it on a kerb for our OCD members).
You can't class the Pretoria as an R only wheel now either as it was an option on the Clubby.
I'd also read elsewhere that this size of Pretoria is not a lightweight rim like the 19" but rather just a normal cast alloy wheel, which is swings and roundabouts. One the one hand it should follow that a smaller wheel should be a bit lighter anyway than an equally cast bigger diameter alloy wheel, and on the other hand the fact these are cast alloys means replacing one that was buggered by a pothole will be much cheaper (theoretically) than the very expensive 19" flavour wheels.
And no, I'm not ordering a set but yes, I have been looking around at wheels as I can't help myself
