Agreed, its like your mind has to process the extra movement, compared to just the "normal" flashing

6 years ago when I bought my car, I remember reading that LED brake lights switched on faster than standard lights. However, early indications were that people didn't register LED light as effectively. Therefore, accidents actually increased I wonder if that is true.

As for the led rear lights, I remember when the E42 3 series introduced led rear lights and I heard the same thing. I also remember thinking every time I was driving behind one, how the hell could superbright fast led lights be harder to see.
