Mk7.5 Iphone Cable
« on: 15 June 2017, 14:58 »
Can I ask what cable Mk 7/7.5 owners are using to connect iPhone to USB? Are you able to coil up standard size cable and stuff it into the storage box or have you purchased a smaller length cable?

I looked at the 'D-Dock' option but think it is a bit expensive, are there any other after market docks that fit?

Thanks in advance.

Standard cable is fine. If you use a very short one it makes plugging phone in very awkward.

Normal cable, fits fine. Have you got an iphone Plus version?

I have a 7 and a 6S Plus which is a work phone. I heard the Plus won't fit so doubt I will use that.

The plus will fit when plugged in but the door won't close but the normal size when plugged in is small enough to close the door.

OK sound,

Another random question, can you have multiple phones connected via bluetooth at once? For example (I know this sounds weird) but for work purposes I carry 2x iPhones and 1 old Samsung.

Yep. One for music, one for calls.

I have my work Iphone and personal Galaxy S7 connected all the time (at the same time). You just select which one you want to be the primary (I've selected my Galaxy as it shows pretty contact photos ). When a call comes in on either phone it will tell you on screen which phone it's coming in on. You can only dial out on the "main" phone though, although there is a small on screen button that allows you to toggle each phone between being the master and the secondary.
