Just speccing up a GTD and noticed they do Black Art Velours leather look for £750 rather than vienna leather which is £1750.

Any views on the velour leather. Tried to google it but not much info. Don't fancy paying £1750 for leather and the standard GTD interior does not look good!

Have you seen them in the flesh?

I didn't like photos of the red tartan GTI seats, but having seen them I actually like them.

Having said that, I'm tempted by the Art seats aswell. They look fantastic in the photos

I quite like them but I would like them more if both sides of the bolsters were faux leather, i.e. proper half leather seats.

I prefer them to the standard tartan seats but the tartan seats do look better in person. I'd go for them myself but if I had the choice I'd probably get a clubsport instead of a gti.

Yea test drove one on saturday just not really a fan of cloth seats.

The ones in the vw configurator show the bolsters sides as leather. The youtube video looks like its all cloth?

Thanks for posting this, they look great - exactly what I was after. I get the history but the tartan cloth seats just don't do it for me.
