HI all. As you may know I've had the new GTD since late May this year, and at the time of delivery, registered for the Car-Net portal (I have Nav Pro so it came free).
Since then the service has been working great (I usually use it for traffic flow on the Nav - which works great). That is until yesterday when I tried to access traffic flow and I got a message on screen saying "Checking registration" (or something like then), which about 10 seconds later reported "registration unsuccessful" ? I tried a number of times and got the same message each time.
thinking that the VW Car-Net portal was down, I thought no more of it, until last night when I went onto the VW Car-Net website on my computer. This site (to which I had previously been working with since April no problem), usually displays details about my car and the wife's Blue GT. Namely online POI's I've created, RSS feeds for the news sections etc. However last night upon logging on, I got a message on screen asking me to register and it gave me a new registration code for the car ? I thought WTF, I've already done this and been using the service for a couple of of months, but this morning on trying car-net again, I once again had the same "registration unsuccessful". So, I went into settings, "Car-net" and registration and entered the new code which worked and allowed me to connect.
Weirdly, I thought that all the POI's and RSS feeds would have been wiped due to the new registration, but all were still there on both the car and when I've just gone back onto the VW Car-Net website.
Anyone had this happened before, and will this likely keep happening or just a glitch ?
