door led red light strip thing

Hi all. Had my car exactly 12mths today. All great but noticed today the red lights in the door cards are not lit. The sills are. Out and about and no manual with me and can't seem to fathom it. Any ideas?

Its probably the setting for ambient interior lighting.

Its in the car setup menu, there is a brightness slider.
