My GTD blew a raspberry!

So, I've a new GTD DSG with only around 1000 miles on the clock. This evening on the way home, while stopped at the traffic lights, the Start/Stop kicked in and when I pressed on the accelerator to move off, the car started up with what can only be describe as someone blowing a raspberry. I thought it was the tuned up Subaru in front, but it happened again further on and that car was gone. I'm kinda worried as to what it could be. Has anyone experienced this before? This video sounds similar but from the inside it didn't sound quite as loud

I'm guessing it's the starter motor sticking but I'd be taking it back for VW to look at it straight away

That's the starter motor. It's the same noise that you'd get if you try to start a car when the engine is already running.
