Dash cam in a mk6

Hi all.

I am pondering getting a decent dash cam but I can't suss the best place for it-ideally I would like it behind the rear view mirror but that doesn't really look viable.

Could anyone advise/post a pic of their please

Yeah its fine behind the rear view, i have mine there. I just wired the cable up and around the windshield and then hard wired into the fuse box at drivers side. looks clean

Thanks. Does putting it behind your mirror affect the dimming sensor/headlight/wiper sensor
