Great forum and I am looking for some help with a problem on my MK3 GTI 2.0 8V 1997 AGG
Attempting to confirm that my distributor timing is correct so with the engine running I connected VCDS then selected - 01(Engine) - 08(Measuring Blocks) - 007(Group) + GO
So looking in (block 1) I get the number 2 and in (block 2) I get the number 9
I was expecting to see (block 1) 57-60 and (block 2) 7-8
Can anyone explain why I am not seeing the numbers that I expected to and with the numbers that I am seeing am I still able to confirm that the timing is correct or not and if not what numbers should I be looking for after adjusting the position of the distributor?
