Keyless confusion
« on: 05 October 2025, 13:22 »
When using the keyless entry function, the car unlocks fine every time when I touch either of the front handles, but it seems completely random as to whether it will lock or not after I get out. I'm new to the car, so not sure if im doing something wrong. Any tips or advice.

Problem solved, I was just doing it wrong!, turns out if you grip the handle it wont lock, you have to just press the sensory bit without touching any other other part to lock it.

Not sure if you are aware but depending on manufacturing date it is possible to disable keyless locking by using the fob to lock and then touching the handle. This is useful for signal blocking to prevent relay theft.
