Mk4 central locking
« on: 27 February 2016, 11:28 »
The central locking wasn't working when I bought my GTi. I was told it was the mechanism in the driver's door, so had that replaced. The driver's door and the boot now opens with the fob, but the other 3 doors do not open.
I find it hard to believe that all four mechanisms are faulty.

Can anyone advise me before I change all the mechanisms?

Thanks

There is a section in the handbook which explains how to program the unlocking sequences....it's done by the switch button on the drivers armrest electric window panel.
