anyone running an independant temperature gauge
« on: 20 November 2015, 22:53 »
hi all,

my gauge is up the spout on my mk2 golf gti 16v and while I try and work out why its reading so wrong I wanted to put in a gauge in the centre consol for the water temp,
can anyone give me advice on how to wire this in?
I can see there is a hose connection you put in the middle of a coolant hose and the temp wire screws in there but what else do you do?
sorry to be thick lol

No need for extra gauge, easy to troubleshoot water temp gauge on mk2.
Get a multimeter.... :) Will take longer to fit extra temp gauge then figure out what is wrong with yours.
