mk4 headlight issues
« on: 22 October 2015, 21:28 »
hi guys
was driving home from work one night and my head lights wouldnt come on, so i checked the fuses all good!!
i check the head light and bulb connections and all was good..... but then my horn and indicators wouldnt work!! so i  turn off my headlight switch and the horn and indicators started to work. but every time i switch on my head lights they dont work nor the head lights dont come on except the park lights.

does my head light switch need replacing?
do you think this switch is the cause to my issue?

look forward to hearing from you all.

What happens if you use jump wires to power up lights manually instead of the light switch (should be disconnected at the time you test).

lights work still when i pull back the high/low beam switch. but when i turn the headlight switch the fault or issue is still there
