Gearbox flange
« on: 21 October 2015, 18:32 »
Hi folks

Hope somebody on here can point me in the rite direction.
A few months ago I bought a 02a ctn gearbox I took it to a local gearbox builder to start rebuild  while I orderd a quiffe lsd from awesome.
When then lsd turned up I took it to gearbox guy who proceeded to fit it.
A few days later he rang me to say it wouldn't fit as i need a bolt in flange type and this was a push in type.
Contacted awsome and they said it was the rite one but a search on the net and it turns out it could be bolted or push in type.
So I needed the 02j lsd but because it's been fitted awsome won't take it back.
Been searching net and it seems I can swap the flanges to make it work.
So do I need 02a or 02j flanges??
Also as one is 100mm and another is 110mm I read something about removing green dust seal.
If anybody could point me in the rite direction would be great.
