ACC does help the fuel consumption as well, so a bonus when crunching through the motorway miles.
Acc has always made my fuel consumption worse never ever better. The only thing its good for is a slight reduction in insurance.
TCR, Pure Grey, DCC, Dynaudio and Climate Screen.

Hi Nick,

Car is still looking good

Hope your are pleased with it. Was a fantastic car and im sure you could see I was very sad to see you drive off in it! The Mrs was taking the pi$$ out of me for it after you left!

Good work with the head unit. Didn't even know that was possible.

Thanks for your posts on the new car. Really pleased with it.

Still massively missing the ACC and auto handbrake. The seats are no where near as supportive as the GTI seats which is surprising, they need more bolster support (there is an option for super sports seats at £750). Loving having heated seats back in my life though. The B&O stereo is amazing.

Used her GTD for a week and I stand by what I say, good car but not a patch on the GTI for me.

MPG average so far... 36.2 but have done plenty of motorway work. Will drop next week when im back home and enjoying the lanes near my house!

Ive done the sad thing and ordered an 'S3' private plate as well

p3asa - thanks for the link. Looking at buying a cable so I play with a few other settings like leaving the exhaust flaps open all the time as well as nearside dipped wing mirror. Unless there is anyone near Lymm that has one and like to get paid in beer

How did you do the screen? I would love a bigger screen in mine

Seconded. The bigger screen would be quite nice and one less bit of shiny black plastic to gather dust.
