MK1 WEBER CONVERSION HELP
« on: 18 September 2005, 20:58 »
Hi all,
Would be grateful for any advice re the conversion.
The cars currently a shell being painted in a couple of weeks, the new engines built
with twin 40's bolted on, have got the facet pump
and the weber linkage. I know there is a solenoid which
trips the vw pump in, but I am unsure if I need to bypass this, I can read
a wiring digram but admit electrics are my Achilles heel.
Also do you use the existing fuel line to deliver
the fuel and blank the return off.
If any one has done this or knows a site with a list of instructions
on best method would be eternally grateful.

thanks

mark

Are you doing the work on a GTI?

Don't block off the return pipe !
