Running issue. Over/under fueling
« on: 01 July 2015, 18:57 »
So my car thinks it's a kangaroo when in first and second like it's not got enough fuel, then pops when I down shift like it's over fueling. It's recently had a new coil, leads, plugs, dizzy cap and rotor armand full service. I've been told it could be the air flow meter. It's ok if I gun it, but on anything below 3000 rpm is a bag of bolts.

Very much this. This problem has plagued my car. I think *touch would* I finally have it under control now. But what you describe has been a split inlet duct (twice) and a f'ed up throttle body once
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.
