Drop links
« on: 19 June 2015, 20:33 »
Can someone do me a favour...

Get me a pic of how the drop links line up with the wishbones on a 16v set up, I've replaced wishbones, ball joints and drop links, as well as ARB bushes( they were a sh!t) but now the drop links sit against the wheel...not good...any pictures of your set up, will be good!

Thanks

I'm betting you have put the wishbones on upside down,i.e. the nearside one fitted to the offside

Pics here may help

Judging from those pictures, I'm not sure what I've done, but I have put them on the correct way, it's almost as if the ARB is too long. I'm off on my holidays today, so it'll have to wait till I get back but it's something to have a good look at, while I'm sitting in the caravan in the pouring rain  let's hope I can get a good 3G/4G signal on the iPad.

Thanks for that Gasketface

I've converted my 8v auto to 16v manual so I was going to take the wishbones off the donor car, but they were shot, so I ordered some more with the donor car details, so yes, I hope so. They did look very similar when I checked them against each other.
