Hi Guys
Car: 1.8t AUM
Can you help?
Looked into my engine bay and I could see the floor... wowsers!
seems the undertray (sump cover) is missing or mechanic couldn't be bothered to place it back.
Does anyone know which part it is? Looked on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251404440821?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Does anyoneone know if this is the right part I need to cover the sump area?
Cheers Manesh

Personally I wouldn't bother mate; they are more trouble than they're worth
I've not had one on my Golf since I bought it with no problems

I agree, best to leave it off because if you have leaks you can actually pin point them easier

Depends how clean you like your bay, rolling without tray pulls dirt up off road. Also helps to catch screws if you're the clumsy type....

I don't know how much the under tray helps to keep the engine bay clean but I don't have one and my bay stays sort of clean, doesn't require much attention from me at all.
