I would still ask your dealer to check Volkswagen UK new stock to see what unallocated new cars are available now if you want to be an early 15 plater You never know, your ideal car might be out there !!

Unfortunately ive already asked them this and nothing meets the kind of spec im looking for!
Either no pp pack or too many doors or Dsg when im looking for Manual etc

Was thinkibg of compromise but then thought for 25k it needs to be 110% perfect so looks like 16 week wait

16 week wait I would be asking for it on a 65 plate as that's only 2 1/2 month away from your 16 weeks

  not waiting a further 10 weeks!
Not fussed whatcplate its on aslong as its brand new although strangely I prefer the 14, 15 plate on cars over the 64, 65 for some reason

Good decision - just make sure you get 12% off if no trade-in.

Yes I prefer the reg to be 'on the year' too - a lot of folk out there don't fully understand the 'new' system so having the year clearly displayed just feels better....
