Careful with the polish, last thing you want is some crazy distracting fish eye effect!

Yeah, hologramming on a windscreen - not good  :sick:

It's an unwanted effect you can sometimes get from using a machine polisher and cutting polish.  Sometimes referred to as buffer trails, it appears on paintwork as a kind of halo effect, which comes from micro marring or lots of little scratches inflicted by the pad or polish, which reflect light in different ways.  It's mainly down to a poor technique.  It's less common on glass but is possible.
