clocks not working properly, earth?
« on: 04 November 2014, 15:49 »
My dashboard has an intimitent problem, when you get in the car either all the dials work or none of them do, sometimes it cuts out whilst working as well. Making me think it's a possible earth issue rather than the clocks have died?

If so anyone know where I should be looking for it?

Or have any other ideas on a cause ?

Also if I was to change the clocks would I keep my mileage or would it have the new clocks miles ?

Thanks for any help

Open them up and resolder joints.

Could also be ignition switch.

have you double checked the plug in connector on the back of them ?.If you change clocks the mileage on the new clocks will show not your current mileage.
