No .:R model has ever had front fog lights. Mk4 & 5 Golf R32's, Passat R36 or Golf Mk6 & 7 .:R
Mk4 R32's had the built in fog light of lesser halogen lit cars replaced with a second indicator as it was felt that the indicator was too close to the brighter xenon lamp and wouldn't be as noticeable.
