As per title, does it 50% of the time when I take a 90 degree bend and every time I pull in my drive which has a slight incline. Starting to do my head in. My mechanic says he can't pinpoint it but is it something simple one of you mk4 guys have experienced? Standard dogs**t high suspension btw until I get some coil overs fitted.

are you sure it isnt the driveshaft on the way out? and have you tried spinning the wheel freely whilst its on full lock? - incase its catching on something

I've not tried that tbh, you can feel the twang on the steering wheel when it knocks, I thought it would be something do do with the steering. If it was catching on something wouldn't it keep knocking as the wheel turned full circle?

i suppose it would, yeah. Another thing to look at is the wishbone on the side that you think is playing up, as they can cause similar symptoms to what you're experiencing
