Would anybody be interested in interior carbon?
« on: 27 June 2014, 20:23 »
Hi guys, I'm considering developing some carbon covers for the interior panels on the MK7.

They would be genuine carbon and all you would need to do is stick them on over the OEM items using the pre installed tape.

I am thinking about developing them for the radio surround which goes up around the air vents, the air con button surround, the dash insert, the instrument cluster surround and the door trims.

Is this something you would be inetrested in?

Cheers

Rick

I think you'd stand a better chance with R owners tbh?, the GTI/D already has a feux carbon effect dash whereas the R is just gloss black.

Good luck with it though mate. :afro:

Not a big fan of the faux carbon - I don't think it's actually that (more a replica of the honeycomb grill style) but every one seems to think it is.

Would be interested to see what you're offering.  I love a subtle mod :)
