I agree majority of the time ive been in kwikfit they are idiots, my local branch actually has people that have good knowledge and the manager drives a modified a3 so very understanding of alignment issues
Previous to them i used http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/ Went to a alignment place that usues a hunter and he completey f**ked the car up and said its because my driveshaft had a bit of play and i have wheel spacers
