mk2 golf window conversion

Anyone know if I can change the electric windows from my mk2 gti to manual and how hard it would be

I've done it the other way around and its not hard. Just get the winder mechs from a lower spec model.
I think the door cards all had a grommet for the handle, but I might be wrong.
Why do you want poverty spec windows?

It harms me if I wanted to open the passenger window with only me in the car. Luckily don't have that problem.

Think its a much better look to hold the switch rather than reach across and frantically try and unwind the window whilst you rear end the car in front aha  :grin:
