My abf was mega reliable,i did have a ,misfire issue once though but sorted it straight away by replacing the ecu relay 30,symptoms were rough idle and bad misfire low down and mid range.

what do u mean the dont have a maf? whats the thing plugged in just after my air box?
i thort they did lol well ill give that a go i think i have another relay 30 but i dunno if mines gonna be different as its a different fusebox?

As above relay 30 and disconnect lambda sensor plug.
Think a pic of what you think is a maf is needed because it's just inlet boot straight to throttle body

No mate they don't have a maf,that sensor is intake temp,you will have relay 30,im in on Monday ,goin to chuck that turbo on,you can try my relay 30 aswell just incase you have a couple of dead ones if your about

The misfire could be anything from coilpack issues (common) to deteriorated HT leads.

Also, are you running the Lambda? Mine backfired and missed loads without it.
