New floorpan

Has anyone welded in a complete floor pan in their golf? The rear passenger footwell is fairly well holed :-

And I think a new floor would be better than making new patches up etc etc.
My biggest question is how do I change the seat rails over? Do I need to cut them out and seam weld them onto to new panel or can I buy new ones anywhere as I'm struggling to find them.
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Ye I would use the existing rails if they are solid enough.  Get a good spot weld drill bit.. or 4!
