It took me a while (and a few cars) to make my way back to GTI ownership, but I am chuffed to be back
This time I have a Mk4 1.8T with an AUM engine. 2001 with 133k miles but it wears those well (it does have a good history). Surprisingly tight and no suspension knocks or rattles.
I had forgotten the pleasure of driving a GTI. It might be soft and saggy next to a Mk2, but the driving dynamics are still good enough to put a grin on my face.
