cheers barry yeah i hope so if i had got a manifold gasket etc yesterday the other bits would have been painted,tempted to paint the calipers the same to keep it looking the same as they need re-doing 

why not if it makes them look a bit better its worth the hour or so you will spend doing it

Cheers man. Think I am going to paint my calipers now that it's been mentioned in this thread. Keeping it clean is the worst part, looks great at first, then...the weather comes.

I cleaned mine Friday, spotless. It's pissing it down now. Typical.

no worries,glad i may have found you another job on the bora  exactly that least its nearing summer now no more salt on the roads
