New Year, new rattle

[GS WAX]

Got the Krytox.  Planning to do it Friday.  Couple quick questions for those that have used the stuff (GS WAX, Beddie?)

Is it definitely ok to use it on the felt part of the upper door seals in addition to the normal rubber seals around the doors?   Best applied using fingers rather than the applicator?

You got an applicator with yours...im on the phone tomorrow asking

No probs with the felt on my mk5, I used the finger method,i was wearing nitrile gloves at the time and used it like the carnauba wax application method,a blob in the palm of a hand then rub hands  together and apply (easy to do not so easy to explain )

Just a quick update on this.

It stopped raining on Monday, so finally got round to applying the Krytox oil to the door seals.  Early days, but so far I have a silent cabin, no rattles, no squeaks.
