« on: 30 August 2005, 22:14 »
I was messing in the car yesterday and noticed that there was some play in the steering column , only a little but its still there,so i would like to know if it is easier to change the steering column as a whole or try and change steering bushes or maybe the bearing has gone and can this be replaced any ideas please

There is a bracket that holds the colum to the scuttle. Its kinda a V shape with a bolt at the end of each part of the V. Make sure these bolts are tight. This cured my wobbly steering.

I'm missing one of those 4 bolts that hold the 'v' to the bulkhead. doesn't wobble though. :D
